EMPOWERMENT OF ELDERS AND YOUTHS
The intergenerational journey between the pola mola and the vibrant youth has evolved into a remarkable legacy, characterized by wisdom, laughter, and newfound connections, woven together through our annual pilgrimage to sacred religious sites. This transformative program breathes life into our history as our elders generously share their generational stories, providing a tapestry of cultural richness and tradition.

Humanitarian Work & Cultural Preservation
“A friend in need is a friend indeed” is the slogan that Drokpo abides by since our inception in 2004. Dropko is vocal and active about how we can quickly respond to any form of calamity or emergency providing assistance to the distressed.
Drokpo believes one has to be always grounded and attached to its roots and thus Drokpo organizes Losar Carnival (since 2015)

In our sincerest attempt in reducing the community's carbon footprint we in partnership with Utpala Crafts introduce biodegradable Khatas (scarf) and Lungtas (prayer flags) that are environment friendly. These are made of cotton and bamboo blend; and unlike the synthetic material it is easy to decompose.

Each Khata comes in three colors (red, grey, golden), decorated with Tashi Tagye (eight auspicious Buddhist symbols). While our lungta comes with 25 flags and measures nine metres long. The thread that binds the flag is made using sisal.

With this approach we are not only drawing everyone's attention towards the environmental issue but we are also reminding our communities that follow Tibetan Buddhism of our age old traditional practices that were actually eco-friendly.

So let us join hands together in bringing those practices back for a better future.
