Established in 2004, Drokpo Nepal is a non-profit organization founded by a group of passionate visionaries committed to creating positive change within the Himalayan and Tibetan communities in Nepal. The name "Drokpo," meaning "friend" in Tibetan, embodies our values of compassion and unwavering support for all individuals, regardless of their circumstan

                                                                                                                  Drokpo’s primary objective is to strengthen the resilience of Tibetan and Himalayan people living in Nepal. As a grassroots organization, we actively engage in numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing the livelihoods and economic foundations of Tibetan and Himalayan individuals. Our dedicated efforts focus on critical areas such as improving economic prospects, promoting women’s reproductive health, and supporting mental well-being within the Himalayan community, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches delivered in their native language.
